Course Content:
– Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as an operative.
– Have a working knowledge of the manufacturer’s handbook for the particular mobile scaffold to be used.
– Be able to locate and identify the major components of the mobile scaffold and explain their functions.
– Conduct all safety checks in accordance with manufacturers and legislative requirements.
– Select suitable type of mobile scaffolding relative to the work being undertaken.
– Identify and maintain PPE appropriate for mobile scaffolding.
– Erect dismantle and relocate mobile scaffolding safely and efficiently.
– Carry out end of work inspections.
– Environmental considerations.
– Storage of mobile scaffolding.
