There are three types of CITB HS&E test – CSCS.uk.com/Card Finder will confirm the correct test to sit based on your occupation and qualifications.
This test covers basic health, safety, and environmental awareness. This is required when applying for the Labourer card, Trainee card, Apprentice card, Blue Skilled Worker cards, and most Gold Advanced cards.
This test covers everything in the operative test, plus additional material relevant to managers and professionals. This is required when applying for the Black Managers card, and the Academically or Professionally Qualified Person cards.
This test covers everything in the operative test, plus additional material relating to a specialist area, such as supervision or working at heights. Specialist tests are required when applying for the Gold Supervisor card, Blue Skilled Worker, and in certain occupations, Gold Advanced Craft cards.
Please ensure that you bring your in-date/valid Passport or Driving License. If you don’t have either of these, please get in touch with us to discuss alternative ID options.
