  • Preparing to enter and work safely in low risk confined spaces.
  • Entering and exiting confined spaces safely.
  • Preparing and using personal protective equipment (PPE) for working.
  • Using equipment and tools safely.
  • Controlling risks and dealing with emergencies.
  • Controlling entry and arrangements for confined spaces.
  • Planning, managing and reviewing work for confined spaces.

 

This unit covers both water and non-water industry areas.

Assessment

Practical observation and a short answer question paper.

Accreditation

City & Guilds Certificate - 3 Year Expiry.
Crestmoor Training Card – 3 Year Expiry.
