The EUSR SHEA Core (Safety, Health & Environmental Awareness) course is designed for individuals working on operational sites, across the energy and utilities sectors. It is suitable for operatives, supervisors and managers who need to demonstrate an appropriate level of health, safety and environmental knowledge and awareness.
Developed in collaboration with employers and key industry stakeholders, the scheme aims to improve workforce safety, promote responsible environmental practices and reduce the risks and costs associated with workplace injuries, illnesses and accidents.
The course provides delegates with an understanding of their workplace responsibilities, common hazards, risk control measures and the importance of protecting both themselves and others while carrying out work activities.
The SHEA Core programme consists of the following six modules:
We deliver this training at our Centre in Wincanton, but we can also deliver the course at your site, if you are able to meet the off-site training requirements.
A valid SHEA registration is also a requirement for individuals applying for the relevant EUSR CSCS card for utilities-related work on construction sites. The type of card required depends on the individual’s job role and level of competence. This must be applied for separately.
