Critical to worker safety, gas detection training is often covered to an adequate level on other courses such as Confined Space training. However, there are situations that are not in confined spaces necessarily, where special gas hazards exist, and risks need to be mitigated by adequate safety training. Hydrogen Sulphide in the oil and gas industry is one such example where hazard awareness training is essential.
Covering theory, limitations, application and practical use of gas detection instruments, our training will ensure that users are confident in the use of equipment in the situations they are faced with at work.
The aim of the course is to ensure that personnel are competent in the use of gas detectors along with identifying simple faults.
